Happy Spring! This is one of my favorite times of the year. How I love new beginnings and the joyful colors and energy of spring's aliveness. Playful flowers popping their heads up out of the warming soil in greeting to the glowing sun, brightly sprouting yellow-green buds and leaves, and so many young ones all around does stir my creative juices and deepest passions. What are you passionate about? What is newly stirring in you this season? Please let us all know!

I have added COMMUNITY to the title of this newsletter and changed it to a QUARTERLY publication rather than a monthly one. I hope you enjoy the exchange of stories from others about their creative process.

I have grown weary of waiting for someone else to deliver it.

That already exists next door, right there...
One choice at a time,
Stepping into the unknown moment by moment.
Uncharted territory,
We will learn together.
Look around, for ideas are popping like popcorn, everywhere!
It's no secret anymore.
Many ways to choose into a new reality "now available."
Cruise the web,
Look at the Bookstores...
Choose the ones that resonate.
We are all interconnected.
Open your heart.
Call in your higher self,
Your soul self,
Your Whole self, as much of you as you can hold!
Call in your ocean of soul, it's flowing in....
Call forth your ocean of creativity, sparkling and ready,
Take your finger out of that internal dyke...
You are ready to burst, yes you are!
Let the energy loose! Expand your field! Play it BIG!
Now call in the profound, let it POUR in
From the deepest deeps Of your being.
Oh yes, it is in you! Surprise! IT IS INSIDE YOU!
Filling you, rushing in, expanding you!
Open up more and more.

3. Creative Tip of the month: This letter from my friend Jayne inspired the theme this month, SAY YES TO PASSIONATE CREATION

Carol,
Just wanted to tell you of my new passion! Collaging a picture of three
Indian women. 55 hours into the project now....is this insanity or pleasure
or passion....I think the latter!

It is so nice to be able to connect with someone who can understand a
passion!

I have talked to many people about what they think their passions are and
to tell you the truth many people have not thought about it! With some it is a fine line of giving up the thought that work is their passion, as if to say there is nothing outside of work that they have time for...or sometimes...a fear of betrayal to family or work.

Exploring passions is a great topic...and hopefully thought provoking for
others!

Dear Jayne,
Creativity comes from a spark of passion within you. If you follow it, that spark will guide you through a creative process. If you stay open and without attachment to the outcome, many times it will lead you into something you never expected. My friend Jessica was drawn to interior design and spirituality. So she combined the two and now runs an interior design business called Interior Expressions. She creates spiritually sensitive interiors of beauty and harmony with an intuitive understanding of her clients needs. Her business is going gangbusters.

To begin to discover your passion ask yourself questions like:
What would I do if time and money were not an object?
What did I love to do when I was a child of about 8 years old?
What would I really like to do but feel it is too crazy or outrageous?

Write your answers down (to start taking yourself seriously). Then ask, how could I incorporate some of these ideas or activities into my life now?

PASSION PREVAILS:
Passion is taking precedence over everything 'round our house and for others
we know as well. Don't worry if you're experiencing some irritability and a
bit of anger ~ it's taking the lid off for passion to express on through.
Just be as responsible as you can with it and celebrate your passion
emerging! We're seeing people face the real-deal choice between a regular
life and a mega-life...a life without passion or a life lived every moment
in the joy of creation. Something is pressing the choice, almost like
there's not much time left to choose, yet I'm not sure why I say that. It
seems that IT'S TIME FOR AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE CHOICE NOW FOR PASSIONATE LIVING! The more people that make that decision now, the sooner we will all achieve that world we're striving for.

WHAT'S UP FOR MARCH?
Big stuff! Whopping huge big stuff! In March, expect passionate living and
passionate leadership to spring from every heart. Expect the very air to
tingle with excitement. Expect things you've been waiting for for a long
time to come into fruition. But more than all of that, be the source
creator of everything you've ever dreamed of and use the new energy of
passionate creation as the building blocks to make it so. There is a whole
new level of realization of your intentions using this energy and it will
simply stun the socks off you with its power and its immediacy.

4. Alive! with Color

Colour surrounds us and infuses our senses constantly. Take a moment and look around. What are all the different colours you see around you? Which colours feel soothing to you? Energizing? Calming? Supportive? Joyful? Balancing? Each colour holds a specific vibration and affects us in a unique way.

Colour breathing is one way to enhance our sense of well being and it is simple. Bring yourself into a comfortable position either lying down or seated. Close your eyes and take 3 long, slow deep breaths (breathe in for the count of 5, hold for the count of 5 and breathe out for the count of 5). In your mind's eye imagine the colour you could happily live with forever. When you have that colour bring your awareness to the soles of your feet. Imagine breathing this colour up through the soles of your feet, up through your legs, genitals, buttocks, abdomen, organs of the body, solar plexus, back, spine, chest, arms, neck, face, and head. Breathe and fill all the muscles, bones, cells and atoms of the body with this colour. Imagine the colour shooting out the top of your head about 2 feet and cascading down around you like a beautiful waterfall cleansing and surrounding your entire being. Let the colour be absorbed by the Earth and then repeat the process….breathing the colour up through the soles of the feet etc. And continue this process for 5 minutes or until you feel complete. When you are finished notice if you feel different from before doing the colour breathing. How do you feel different? What has changed? How has this colour affected your well being?

Colour breathing has been found to be effective for both physical and/or emotional pain and/or injury as well. Again center yourself by taking 3 long slow breaths. Bring to mind the colour that would bring balance to the area you are focusing on. When you have found the colour that feels right begin to breathe that colour into all the cells of that area. Let the atoms and cells be infused with this colour. See this colour completely filling and bathing this area with its vibration. Continue this breathing for 5 minutes or until you feel complete.

Experiment with different colours. How do they affect you differently? What colours are supportive when you want to increase your energy, feel more joy, become more focused, calm your mind? Use the rainbow of colours to guide you on your own journey. Let them speak to you and guide you. Please feel free to share your experiences through this newsletter.
